Stan Lee: A Tribute

This artwork piece has been created in honour of the Spectacular, Stan Lee; creator of countless comic book heroes that have greatly helped shape pop-culture into what it is today! The amazing writer, who sadly departed us in November last year, imagined an incredibly large portion of the universe of Marvel Comics. One of his creations (and arguably one of his most renown) was that of the web-slinging character known as Spider-Man, hence the accompanying backdrop. The tribute artwork was actually begun not long after the passing of the legendary icon, however careful time was spent in getting the piece to a high-standard that I am proud to present! Today the artwork is released just in time for the "Excelsior! A Celebration of the Amazing, Fantastic, Incredible & Uncanny Life of Stan Lee" event held in Hollywood, remembering and appreciating his contribution to the comic book industry.
