Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Fan Comic Cover

This artwork piece is a rather nostalgic one that captures the visual appeal and layout of the original Star Wars Marvel comics of the late 70's, updated featuring characters from the upcoming highly-anticipated eighth instalment to the film saga, 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'. I wanted to really capture the essence of vintage comic covers with slightly odd shaped poses, some incorrect details and a limited colour palette. However as colouring progressed, the overall look became slightly more detailed and modern than I had envisioned. Thankfully, the line work and layout structure still does the vintage comic style justice.
